A Silver Lining On Our Dark Cloud?

My son is having so much trouble in school and on the bus that takes him to and from,I dread checking his backpack in what I might find.From naughty slips from the teacher,principle and the bus driver,I wonder where my son is going.He is 6 years old and already seen the principle too many times with a in-school suspension.I always knew he was a handful but no where did I think there was something really wrong with him,I always felt something was there but didn't really know.He is my first and looks like my only child as I get older.When he was in DK last school year I found out info on what he does when he is in school and it seemed to get a little better and by the end he had a bunch of ppl giving him the extra help he needed.Now he has those same ppl and he is doing the same,if not worse,things again this school year for him in K.Well there is light,I hope,at the end of this path he is one.I got him an appointment for an evaluation,hopefully,to get some answers to what is going on.If they find something he already has an appointment for a psychologist.The first app. is Monday at 1pm,so I am going to keep him home from school.I have to drive a ways and arrive 1/2 hour sooner to fill out paperwork.I am just glad I am getting somewhere on this and hope it keeps going till my son is a normal little boy,well as normal as a child from me and Mark can be lol.

Today my son came home not feeling well and asking for soup,so I gave him some and he ended up eating 2 small bowls.I gave him some allergy meds in hopes this is the problem,now I am wondering.He seemed warm when I put him to bed so giving him something more to help.If he isn't better by morning then no school tomorrow.

Going to bed now since I am tired and then wake with him at 7am,hope he feels better and that's for him not me lol.

Tony and School

I got a call today from Tony's school asking about how he will be getting to and from school and if there was any day care.I said no since he will come to and from home to school,I asked what bus number and teachers name while on call.She told me and later I went to the mail box only to find a letter from his teacher with the info I asked about lol.I also got a flyer from the school system and in it even more info I needed.So soon I will be going to his open house where we will meet the new teacher and kids as well as finding what school supplies he needs,I also need to find him gym shoes again.Last years shoes he only wore and they still look like new but he can't wear them since they are too small.I don't like the idea of getting shoes and having so little wear,seams like a waste of money and I can't waste it.I will post more info and pics as we get there and so happy that this year he is going everyday all day this year,they had to in order to get the extra funding they wanted.Well its my gain as well as my mom and my son,whom needs the extra time and help.

School Is Coming...

I am so happy school is coming up soon,having my son home all day every day is driving me to the nut house faster.He can be such a pain and handful doing this mostly on my own.I can't wait till the day comes when daddy can help more and give me some breaks.I am not happy his school is having their orientation day the week before his first day and that is when I get him supplies list.I know he needs pants,socks and who knows what else and I don't like waiting the week before to pick them all up.I got some clothes from her that her son outgrew,mostly shirts and some he can't even wear yet but when he can I have them.I hope he does well in school and better then he was in dk last school year,he is also getting more help this year then last so we will see how this all goes.He will be in the same school I was when I was his age and that is kinda cool,whats funny is when I went there everything looked so different then it does now.I will be taking a first day of school pic like I did last year,not sure what he will be wearing.I kept all his school work from last year and I am sure I will again this year.My son got a pen pal from Iowa,I got a message from his mom on facebook.His name is Noah,he is 6 years old as of last dec. and he reads well.I need to pick up a michigan post card for Tony to send him and then something special in a letter.
